How and where are rewards collected for running a blockchain node? Celestia node for example. What was the claim process like?
Celestia has two separate but connected networks - consensus and data availability network. Consensus network is built on top of cosmos-sdk and tendermint, and is responsible for ordering transactions. That’s expanded with a separate data availability network that relays the blocks from the core network and serves DAS requests.
When it comes to rewards, keep in mind that in the current design, DA nodes are not incentivized. However, validators that are in the top 100 active set, do participate in consensus and earn block rewards.
You can find a good overview of how you can participate in Celestia network and the roles of different types of nodes at Overview to running nodes on Celestia | Celestia Docs.
